Unix

The only file you need to download manually is config.tgz. Unpack, configure by editing config/targets, and install by running config/install.sh. The installer automatically downloads any additional files it might need. For more information, see INSTALL.

MacOS X

You can use the "generic Unix" procedure above, or you can install a pre-built system using the installer package in smlnj-110.59.dmg (or smlnj-for-intel-mac-110.59.dmg for Intel Macs). For more information, see MACOSXINSTALL.

Microsoft Windows

Download smlnj.zip and follow the instructions in WININSTALL.
